Calico Dress Panel x Fuller Craft Museum

As a child growing up in Brockton, school field trips to the Fuller Craft were always a highlight of the school year. The Fuller Craft is a local contemporary craft museum, and a true hidden gem of my city.

This year I was asked to participate in their Calico Dress Project - a collaborative project between 12 different Artists and Art Organizations, designing 13 dress panels, held in honor of their newest traveling Exhibition The Red Dress . The Calico Dress will be constructed of the 13 different panels, and will stand as a companion to The Red Dress for the duration of its Exhibition stay in one of Fuller’s galleries.

I designed my panel with some of my signature blue people, and other imagery I sketch and doodle often. The goal of the panel design was to maintain simplicity, while still implementing my artistic style through color and shapes.

On February 24th, 2024, Fuller held a community event - allowing community members to create alongside the Artists, and contribute to the completion of the panels.
